I am a vocalist and educator, and run the Swaraswati School of Music the Bay Area - Dublin, CA. I have known and respected the Kothechas and their commitment to the field of classical music for years, and have recently become deeply connected to and inspired by the Festival of Tabla. It truly is a one of a kind festival dedicated to Tabla and HCM to take place in North America. Its strength is its commitment to musical excellence, high quality (both of event and artists) and its effort to bring forward a younger generation of artists who deserve to be showcased. On behalf of my school, I would like to be an active fundraiser for the FOT this year and encourage my students and community members to donate to this brilliant endeavor!
