Why repair cars for front lines?

After vigorous service, most cars are in desperate need of numerous repairs to keep them running in the future missions. A group of volunteers in Cherkasy Oblast took upon a challenging task of repairing and maintaining the vehicles that were purchased or donated to the Ukrainian Army forces. They already fixed and sent 4 cars back to the front, more to come!

Real life example:

Among other vehicles, volunteers raised funds and purchased Hyundai Terracan for the 30th Brigade. It has been through a lot on the front lines, and was heavily damaged during one of the missions in Bakhmut. In Ukrainian “Таракан” means “Roach”, which has since become its very appropriate nickname. It is vitally important to keep Roach and other cars in good condition to continue to save the lives of Ukrainian defenders.

Most of their costs are going to getting the auto parts since the mechanics are donating their time and labor.
