The Grove Foundation is a not-for-profit organization registered with the State of Illinois and has been supporting the Downers Grove community since 1991. The mission of the Grove Foundation is to:

Provide financial support for educational, recreational, and social programs in the Downers Grove community through our Annual Grant Program.
Develop and implement the 5th grade student recognition program Helping Children Grow.
Develop and conduct fundraisers to support our local community programs.
Accept financial and land donations on behalf of the Downers Grove Park District, Downers Grove area school districts, or the Village of Downers Grove from private citizens or businesses.

Contributions to the Grove Foundation are tax deductible. What sets The Grove Foundation apart from other organizations is its unique ability to respond promptly to a variety of grant requests using a flexible funding criteria. The Board of Directors meets monthly in members' homes resulting in a timely, efficient response to need, with minimal overhead. Recipients have included children, seniors, special needs athletes, veterans, artists, organizations and more.
