Founded in 1992 by Tom Adams, who joined forces with Jessica Taylor, Chance for Life began as a vision of hope inside Michigan’s prisons. Together, they built a program that inspires growth, healing, and change from the inside out.

Today, Tom and Jessica continue visiting prisons across Michigan, teaching life skills, emotional awareness, and practical tools for reentry. They connect returning citizens with mentors, job training, and opportunities to truly start over—stronger, wiser, and ready to lead.
