We are thrilled to honor three decades of making a difference in the lives of Latin women and children across Houston. This year, alongside our dynamic Co-Chairs, Julie Garza and April Ramirez Fabre, we proudly celebrate Lisset Garza and Naimeh Salem as our Honorary Co-Chairs for this milestone event. These two amazing women have accomplished so much for our Latino community and we cannot wait to celebrate them.

We are also thrilled to partner with Saks Fifth Avenue again! LWI’s fashion show and luncheon has become one of Houston’s most anticipated charitable events of the year and is sure to be a sell-out! The theme of this vibrant event will be 30 Years of Impact: A Legacy as Timeless as Emerald where we will celebrate the past, present, and future impact on our community.

LWI assists underserved Latin women and children in the Greater Houston area where Latinos account for 44% of the population and remain to be one of the most underserved communities living in poverty. With your support, LWI has been fundraising to provide financial donations and volunteering many hours with nonprofit organizations that align themselves with LWI’s core mission - to empower and support Latin women and children.
