Hello, I am Cambria Peterson, and I am thrilled to share that God has opened an amazing opportunity for me to journey to Malawi, Africa, this June 2024! Serving alongside Springs of Salvation (SOS), a global non-profit dedicated to providing clean drinking water to communities. SOS is currently in Africa with future hopes of reaching others worldwide. I will be part of a mission trip to drill wells in villages lacking access to clean water. With your generous support, we aim to fundraise for and drill two wells during this trip. I'm seeking to raise $6,000 to contribute to the drilling of the two wells and cover travel expenses. It's easy to overlook the essential nature of clean water. In Malawi, where drinkable water is still scarce, even in 2024, lives are endangered. Shockingly, approximately 90% of deaths are attributed to or connected with the absence of clean water access in Malawi.
This mission is not just about providing water; it's about changing lives through sharing the goodness of God. Inspired by John 4:14 ESV, which declares, "But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life," we are called to embody this scripture and extend love and help to those in need. Together, we can make a difference by providing drinkable water to the people of Malawi.
