We are Rocky Mount Animal Advocates, a local nonprofit working to help animals at risk by connecting them with rescue partners, support, and a way out of the shelter.

This month, we’re raising funds through our May 50/50 Raffle to help cover some of the most urgent needs in our community.

🐾 Big Papa’s Second Chance
Big Papa, a Rocky Mount dog now safe with a rescue partner, is preparing for adoption—but first, he needs a board & train program ($1,300) to give him the structure and confidence he needs to succeed in a home.

🐾 Kitten Season Is Here
We are already seeing an influx of kittens flooding into the shelter, many too young to be adopted. They require supplies, care, and time to safely reach placement. Your support helps provide formula, litter, and basic care to keep them healthy and moving forward.

🐾 Community Cats Matter
Spay/neuter for community cats is one of the most effective ways to reduce intake and prevent suffering before it starts. Your support helps cover appointments so fewer kittens end up in the shelter in the first place.

🐾 Helping Animals Get Out
Rocky Mount Animal Shelter is often full, and when space runs out, time runs out. We work every day to help animals find rescue placement, secure pledges, and coordinate transport so they can make it to safety.

Each $5 donation = 1 raffle entry or 5 entries for a $20 donation

💰 One donor will receive 50% of the total funds raised
🐾 The remaining 50% goes directly to supporting these lifesaving efforts
