Dear Friends, Supporters, and Fellow Fighters,
Over 20 years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer—a rare but aggressive form that changed my life forever. Back then, there were no targeted therapies, no roadmaps, and very few people who even understood what RET+ meant. I survived thanks to determination, early research breakthroughs, and a community that never gave up hope.
Today, we've come so far. We now know more about RET+ cancer than ever before. We have the science, the tools, and the potential for real cures—but now we face an unexpected and heartbreaking setback: federal budget cuts have severely limited funding for cancer research, especially in rare and understudied areas like RET+.
This pause in funding comes at a critical moment—when momentum is building, when clinical trials are within reach, and when lives hang in the balance.
We can't afford to wait.
That's why I’m asking for your help. We need to raise funds now to bridge the gap left by federal cuts, to keep research going, to support scientists on the brink of discovery, and most importantly, to offer hope to patients and families who don’t have time to wait for the system to catch up.
As someone who’s lived through the fear, the treatment, and the long road to survivorship, I can tell you this: every dollar, every effort, every moment of support matters.
Let’s not let bureaucracy stall progress. Let’s stand together and end RET+ cancer—once and for all.
With deep gratitude and unshakable hope,
RET+ Cancer Survivor, Advocate, and Believer in What’s Possible
