I am wrapping up my second term on the Raleigh City Farm board at the end of 2024. As a thank you gift to the Farm, I am raising $500 by the end of the year.
Raleigh City Farm is a non-profit urban farm in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Our mission is to connect and nourish our community through regenerative agriculture. We live out our mission by growing thousands of pounds of produce and sharing this produce with non-profits addressing food insecurity and access, selling produce to our community through a Pay What You Can Farmstand, and offering multiple workshops and opportunities for the community to dig where they live.
I began volunteering with Raleigh City Farm in 2017 as a member of the Marketing & Communications team. I was fortunate to serve as co-chair when we pivoted the Farm's strategy and introduced our “New Season of Stewardship”. This new strategy included hiring a farm manager, supporting a new and robust intern program, selling produce directly to community members at our weekly Farmstand, and donating produce to local non-profits addressing food insecurity and access.
Now, the Farm is making another bold move by expanding our footprint in Raleigh. Please help me meet my goal of $500 by the end of 2025.
