Stand Against Suicide Stigma

The 24:70 Project

Why we're doing this:

Last year, Charleston county experienced 70 suicides. To honor them, their families, and anyone who is still struggling alone, we are hosting Project 24:70 to Stand Against Suicide Stigma.

We are running together to share stories and memories, to share struggle and sunshine, and to share strength and inspiration all to remind ourselves we are never alone--you are never alone--we get to do this, together.

The run:

5:30 PM: Meet and greet at Big Work Fitness Factory for free hydration, chance to buy swag, and meet the Quest team.

6:00 PM : 7 mile group or yoga flow run led by Zach & Big Work Fitness begins at Big Work Fitness Factory, 16 Conroy St.

6:30 PM: Starts Edwin Martin's 24hr run for Suicide Awareness.

7:30 PM: End of the group run and yoga celebration at Revelry Brewing.

Quest mission & vision

At Quest, we believe our greatest resiliency to adversity comes from forging community.

Our student-led organizations at CofC and The Citadel strengthen the mental fitness of young adults by providing free group recreation, community building on college campuses, and service campaigns in the community to combat loneliness, suicide, and addiction.

Our vision is to cultivate a nationwide network of more than one million students, participating actively in our college campus mental health initiatives while extending acts of service beyond the confines of our campuses.
