This spring, you can help boys at Montclaire Elementary in Charlotte, NC build confidence, character, and connection through Let Me Run.

Let Me Run empowers boys to express themselves, build healthy relationships, discover their strengths, and experience the joy of movement—all in a safe and encouraging team environment. Starting March 18, Montclaire boys meet with their coaches twice a week for seven weeks to train for a 5K while learning about teamwork, healthy habits, emotional regulation, gratitude, and community service.

The Montclaire team stands out as one of Let Me Run’s most energetic and connected groups. At their first practice, many returning boys proudly wore shirts and wristbands from past seasons, while even new participants quickly embraced the culture—cheering each other on with encouragement like “You’ve got this!” and “Don’t give up!” School staff have noted improvements in behavior and leadership among the boys involved. At Montclaire, being a Let Me Run boy truly carries meaning.
