This September, Sheridan Elementary students will lace up their sneakers and take on the Blackhawk Walk course- cheering each other on as they complete fun activity stations, earn prizes, and show off their school spirit. The Blackhawk Walk is our only student-led fundraiser of the year. Every dollar raised directly supports the events, programs, and extras that make Sheridan Elementary such a special place to learn. Your donation fuels:

Classroom resources and teacher support
Donuts with Grown-Ups, the Monster Mash Dance, and Spring Carnival
Our Christmas reward program, Blitzen's Barn, where students choose gifts for their families at no charge
Fifth grade camp cost reduction
Behavior recognition rewards that keep kids motivated
And much more!

Our goal this year is $20,000, and every gift counts. Whether you give $5 or $500, you’re helping us create the best possible experience for every Sheridan Elementary student.

Here’s how it works:

Students collect donations from friends, family, and neighbors
Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online in seconds
Classes and students earn prizes for participation
The week of September 14-18, each class will walk the course and celebrate our success together on September 12

Your First Step?
Register your student as a fundraiser. You can include as much or as little information as you like- just be sure to list their classroom as their “team” so every donation counts toward their class total. Donations made through their page help us reach our $20,000 goal and keep all the great PTO events and programs going strong.

Join us in showing our Blackhawk Pride—give today, share the link, and help us walk our way to an amazing school year.
