For 20+ years I did not want to accept that I may have a rare genetic disease that my dad and grandfather had. At age 50, I decided it was time to find out.
At first I felt alone, and overwhelmed with all the information and medical terminology on the stack of papers handed to me.
Then I found the Cure VCP group. Now I have a community to turn to who understands and is striving to gain knowledge through research to combat this degenerative disease.
"Live a Great Story" is my mantra for this phase of my journey with VCP Disease. I call it the "WHILE I STILL CAN MOVEment"
