Dear Friends,

Fifty years ago, Lynn Ann and I took the first steps on a journey that we're still on today. It meant leaving our families and friends in our small, southeastern New Mexico town and moving 2,000 miles away to New Jersey to work with disadvantaged children. If all our support came in, we had $210/month to live on! We never looked back. In 1975, Lynn Ann and I, my sister, Dusty, and our brother-in-law, Bill, founded Aslan Youth Ministries. As we celebrate our 47th year, the rest . . . is history!

By God's gracious hand, we are still going strong today. Our mission - to provide relationship-based, life-transforming programs for urban, African American children -  has never drifted. 

On September 18, Aslan is hosting our 14th Annual Beauty & The Beach Run. It's one of two yearly fundraisers for our ministry, and we're praying for an outpouring of support this year. If all our Facebook friends give $10 each we will raise $6,000!!
