The YMCA has been a part of my life for many years. I grew up as a camper and counselor at YMCA Camp Cheerio and later worked at the High Point YMCA as Senior Physical Director. I have been on the Board of the Alamance Community YMCA for many years and have seen the growth and impact the programs have on our community. If you haven’t experienced the Y, you are missing out! 

Your support of any amount will impact the Y in many ways. The Alamance Community Y serves kids of all ages through the summer camp programs, Camp Horizon and Camp Frontier, swim lessons, sports programs (Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, and Cheerleading to name a few!), and afterschool programs. The Y also has a Food Access Program that provided over 100,000 meals last year! The Teen programs, Y Leaders, Y Achievers, Y Empower, and Counselors-In-Training, are preparing our kids for the future. Also, families are able to engage in Wellness and Healthy Living at the YMCA through utilizing our fitness areas and programs.
