Where you are from, and when did you move to Charlotte?

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, moved to The Queen City at 9 years old.  

Favorite thing about Charlotte?

Everything that Charlotte has to offer.  CLT gives that big city vibe but the comfort of feeling all the small town feels.  We get the best of all worlds here.  You can enjoy a day boating on the lake, then hit the town for the night.  Lastly, I love how close we are to everything.  Three hours to the beach and two hours to the mountains.   It's a blessing to live in such a special place. 

What motivates you to give back?

Everyone deserves a chance to be heard, to be seen and to live a good life.  It is their birth right.  My dad grew up in an underserved community.  With determination and resources similar to what Neighborhood Hope and YDI provides, he was able to go on to create a good life for his family.  Just having the PRIVILEGE to be put in a position where I am able to make a difference is motivation enough for me.
