A short 18 years ago when I moved to Atlanta, my "Do Social Good," spirit was alive, yet I didn't know HOW to let her free. Hands on Atlanta unlocked my Do Social Good spirit in Atlanta! My first social good leadership efforts was organizing Hands on Atlanta day at Ernst & Young, LLC. From there, anytime I wanted to engage in the community, I looked up options with Hands on Atlanta.
Fast forward to today, I came full circle and joined the Hands on Atlanta board. I was attracted to this service role to help bring forth a focus on civic engagement, which extends beyond volunteerism.
Please join me in Hands on Atlanta's spring FUNdraiser! My goal is to help raise $2,500 this spring, and your contribution of $5 to $5,000 goings a huge way to helping Hands on Atlanta engage Atlantans in civic engagement in Atlanta. The most pointed example is this past year as a result of COVID-19, hunger needs in Atlanta increased by over 300%. Hands on Atlanta partnered with numerous organizations to connect volunteers to efforts to alleviate hunger. Will you help me help Hands on Atlanta serve Atlanta's needs?
