Claire became a member of the Independence Center in 2016. Since then, she has been active in the clubhouse through participation in Colleague Training, giving tours, and participation in the work order day. She was a recipient of the Sydney Baer Scholarship in 2023 and used the educational grant to earn her certification as a personal trainer. She currently works as a trainer at The Exercise Coach in Wildwood. According to Claire, “Every part of my life has been touched by the Independence Center, and I’m so excited to be the member dancer this year. The Independence Center has made all of my dreams possible! Every dollar raised at Dancing with the St. Louis Stars will directly benefit my fellow members. We are making dreams a reality!!”
