Did you know that over 60 million Americans, including 43% of young adults, face various mental health challenges? It's a staggering number, and it's a cause that deserves our attention. The Independence Center is a hidden gem that offers incredible support to those struggling with mental health issues, thanks to its amazing staff and facilities.
When my friend Lisa Nichols, who has been involved with the center, told me about its mission, I was initially unsure if I could make a difference. But then I spoke with my dance instructor, Aga, and everything changed. I told Aga about my desire to give back to the community that enabled me to pursue the American Dream as an entrepreneur. I also shared how my son, Tejas, has been instrumental in supporting a network that helps students, and how my daughter Sejal has always had a passion for dancing.
Aga, who has a similar story of coming to this country in pursuit of the American Dream and now owns Premier Ballroom Dance, wholeheartedly agreed that supporting the Independence Center is a worthy cause. Her encouragement inspired me even more.
I am now committed to raising funds for this important event, and I am excited to be a part of it. I also want to encourage our Indian community's professionals and entrepreneurs to step up each year and support the Independence Center. Together, we can make a lasting impact and help those in need.
