Riding the bike tour last year for Planned Parenthood was a thrill. The weather was glorious and I was with my best friend. This year, I am raising money for something closer to home and riding with my supervisor and friend, Leigh Latimer. For many years, Leigh and I have supported the work of survivor leaders through our Advisory Board. Comprised of survivors of human trafficking, these individuals engage in legislative advocacy, mentoring, and act as thought partners when we consider new projects. Sadly, the Advisory Board lost critical funding this year. With your support, however, the Board can continue and flourish. Your donations will ensure members are paid for their expertise and ensure that our legal practice and advocacy remains rooted in the expertise of those with lived experience.
