If you've met me, you know how proud I am to be an attorney at the Legal Aid Society. To start my 39th year (!) at LAS and my 11th with The Exploitation Intervention Project, I am riding the 5 Boro Bike Tour with my friend and colleague, Abby Swenstein. Abby and I are riding to fund EIP's Advisory Board, a group of resilient survivors of human trafficking who support and inform EIP's work through legislative advocacy, mentoring, and who are thought partners when we consider new projects. Funding for the Board does not fit within Legal Aid's budget so we need your support to keep the Board flourishing. Your donations will ensure members are paid for their expertise and ensure that our legal practice and advocacy remains rooted in the expertise of those with lived experience. Funding for the Board also provides financial support for members' educational and professional development goals. It is important work and we thank you for your support!
