Yesterday was #Giving Tuesday. It is touted as a global generosity movement unleashing the power of individuals to make an investment in their communities. Right now, There is still time to join the movement as all gifts will continued to be matched through today.
My ask today, is not as a fundraiser, but an investor in our community like yourself. Today, our gifts will continue to be matched by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund. So don’t delay, today is the final day of the match program. Together we can change lives.
Right now, nearly 40% of our neighbors are struggling to provide the basic needs for their families, like food, housing, utilities, and warm clothing. Today, the funds I raise will be donated to purchase new coats. A coat for a young child in the cold waiting for a bus. A coat for a child shoveling snow for their neighbor. A coat that fits for the student getting bullied.
By setting a goal of $500, together we can purchase a classroom new coats. Today, for $25 you can buy a coat!
