Today is #Giving Tuesday.
It is touted as a global generosity movement unleashing the power of individuals to make an investment in their communities. Today, at United Way we are putting our daily work aside and joining the thousands of people that will show their generosity by creating a movement for a stronger community where we all live, work and play.
So why is today different?
- Today, I am raising money as a community investor like yourself.
- Today, I am raising money to keep our kids warm this winter.
- and Today, I am asking you my colleagues, acquaintances, business partners, and most importantly friends to join me in #Giving Tuesday.
Right now, I ask you to join me in the movement, and together we can keep an entire classroom warm. Over 1,400 children and counting are on the list to receive a coat in December. We look in our closet and wonder which coat to wear but for many children this will be their only coat. Your gift will bring us closer to our goal, I am counting on you.
