Join us in the Grand Ballroom of the Georgia World Congress Center on Saturday, April 6th for an inspirational night of fights and fundraising you'll never forget!
My name is Abby Kolb and I am an assistant professor of criminal justice and criminology. My research focuses on marginalized individuals and their challenges with incarceration, and transition from prison back to their communities. My previous work and current activism has centered on this issue, as well. Specifically, my aim is to bring awareness to and address racial, class, and gender-based injustice within our criminal justice system.
I hope to raise as much money as possible (my goal is $10,000) for a small non-profit organization that works hard to fight criminal injustice. The Southern Center for Human Rights relies on individual donations to support their legal team; they do not receive government funding. Please come out and support this incredible organization by donating, and/or purchasing tickets to watch me fight (literally and figuratively) for human rights!
