With hearts full of gratitude, we reflect on the life and legacy of Tata Pierre Sandor Diabankouezi—Our beloved Elder, artist, and cultural pillar whose impact on the Oakland African Dance community is beyond measure.
In July 2024, Tata Sandor was welcomed home to Brazzaville with love by Family, Friends, and Embrace Kongo delegates, completing his Supreme Journey.
The Power of Community!
To all who supported his return—we thank you. Your love, trust, and care ensured his final journey was met with dignity, honor, and community strength.
