Team Catenatus!'s Story

Eastern Massasaugas (Sistrurus catenatus) is one of two federally protected rattlesnake species in the U.S. These little snakes are lovers of open-canopy wetlands throughout the Great Lakes Region, but their precious habitats have disappeared across their range as wetlands continue to be converted for agriculture. Scattered, isolated, and dwindling in numbers, these gentle animals need your help!
