The International Still's Disease Support Center, formerly known as the International Still's Disease Foundation (ISDF) Support Group, is very active and vital support group for anyone in the world who is affected by Still's Disease (Adult Onset Still's Disease/AOSD or Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis/sJIA). In 2017, when the founders and board of ISDF fell too ill to continue the nonprofit, they dissolved into AiArthritis (International Foundation for Autoimmune & Autoinflammatory Arthritis). We are dedicated to continuing to provide a safe space for patients and care partners to connect, talk, ask questions, and just support one another through their journey with this serious disease.
Still’s Disease is a rare, multi-systemic (whole body) autoinflammatory condition that can vary from person to person, but often includes fevers, rash, joint pain, and organ involvement. It can occur at any age, even at birth.
Early detection, diagnosis, and access to treatments is vital to helping those with Still's Disease. Please support our work with a gift today!
"Prior to diagnosis I was immobile. I could barely walk, swallow, and had intense fatigue. I could not even open a phone book to look up doctors or hold the phone to dial." - Karen
"During this period, I couldn't get out of a chair, off the toilet, or out of the bath. To this day, I still have to get out of the bath in a certain way due to the damage done to my wrists." - Eleanor
"The doctors had no clue of what they were dealing with. My son was sick less than 30 days. He never had any health issues and no indicators of an illness that would take his life at the age of 20. Had the doctors known about Stills and how to treat it, my son may still be with us." - Tammy

"The work AiArthritis does through their 'Go With Us!" to Conferences patient-led education program has helped me keep up with all the latest research and treatments for managing Still's Disease. It's even helped me know how to talk to my doctor about these options, which is so important to my journey!" - Carrie
"The facebook support group is like a lifeline to people who understand. I know any time of the day or night I can talk to others who get it and I can ask questions and within hours I get many responses. Thank you, AiArthritis, for continuing this group after the Still's foundation closed down." - Jerry
