End Alzheimer’s Motorsports objective is to use racing as a means to create awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and to raise funds to help support those with the disease as well as their caregivers. We are passionate about combining our love of racing with our dedication to charity and philanthropy in support of those impacted by Alzheimer's disease.

Background

End Alzheimer's Motorsports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While it has operated successfully in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, particularly in fundraising and awareness initiative, there has been a growing desire over the past two to three years to create an independent effort to run in parallel to the organization’s partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. This motivation led to the development of a new program called Racing for Memories.

Personal Inspiration

The inspiration for Racing for Memories stems from a personal experience: the loss of the founder's father-in-law to Alzheimer's disease in December 2018. A few months prior, in September of that year, the founder's in-laws visited, and soon after, the condition of the father-in-law worsened considerably. The family felt fortunate to have had that time together and recognized that their ability to travel and be together was a privilege that not everyone shares.

Purpose of Racing for Memories

Racing for Memories is designed to serve as a "dream trip" program specifically for Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers. The aim is to provide opportunities for these individuals to take meaningful trips, visit special places, or see family members and friends before the disease progresses too far. While the program has a motorsports connection, the trips do not have to be related to motorsports in any way. The program's goal is to offer financial support to make these experiences possible for those who may not have the means to do so on their own.

Pilot Program and Future Plans

For 2026, the goal is to raise $5,000 to launch a pilot of the Racing for Memories concept. The plan is to fund at least one trip for a patient and caregiver, but if the initial budget supports it, we will expand to a 2nd trip. Preparations are underway, including the creation of marketing presentations, promotional materials, community outreach activities, and all legal aspects to execute the program.
