Rachel Becker's Story

Hi! My name is Rachel and I was diagnosed with stage one IDC at age 37 during a screening mammogram. The world I once knew fell around me, leaving a shell of the person I was before. COVID further isolated me during treatment. Finally I discovered writing and creative artistic expression as a way to rediscover who this new person was. Cactus Cancer has provided an invaluable outlet for finding peace and meaning in my post diagnosis existence. Consider donating to this fundraiser to ensure no other young adult faced with cancer is left without community and expressive means. Your support will mean myself and others can continue receiving the meaningful support we need to thrive.
