I am reaching out to day to both inform you of an AMAZING program that Amelia participates in, and to ask for a financial contribution to help support this worthy nonprofit. Kids In Concert (KIC) is (sort of) a music program. I say "sort of"because saying that it is a music program doesn't paint the whole picture. While KIC does provide exceptional free instrumental music instruction to about 60 kids regardless of their financial situation, it does so much more. It gives kids a place to be respected, to be celebrated to belong just as they are. Younger kids are mentored by the older kids, and far too quickly, they become the older kids mentoring the younger ones. The kids learn respect for music, respect for others and respect for themselves. This program can ONLY exist because of the generosity of others. Please consider a contribution of any size. Your donation will be used well for kids that will grow up to pay it forward. Thank you for your consideration.
