Hello everyone! My name is Lareine, and I am the co-president of Perfect Pair’s Drexel chapter! My work with Perfect Pair is incredibly meaningful to me, and I would greatly appreciate your support as we create authentic intergenerational connections. Throughout my time in this organization, I’ve had the chance to see the incredible impact Perfect Pair has on the many communities we serve. Yet, there is an immense amount of work still to be done. Social isolation is a serious challenge for many residents of senior living communities. Over half of all seniors in assisted living have no visitors! Perfect Pair is always working to reach as many residents as possible. Long-term care communities face extreme challenges, especially during and post covid, that reduce the quality of life of their residents. It's our goal to combat loneliness and improve the overall health and well-being of the seniors in the communities we work with. We try to reinforce a mutual sense of companionship and purpose for our pairs. These are some of the reasons I ask you to support our program as we continue to work to make a difference.
