I am fundraising for the unexpected mothers and the precious children. I am walking for the mothers needing help. So My eight children and I are walking because we believe in the precious gift of life. We are called to be the church, to Go and make disciples. What if every church in Holland or Zeeland had just a few people Going, standing and walking for the unborn and coming alongside, discipling women in Christ love to pursue life and love for their baby. Imagine the difference we could make in their lives and our community. I once had that opportunity, where the Lord led a homeless women and her infant daughter to my mother and I. Alone and afraid, she tearfully cried hours in the cold with her baby at a local grocery store. Through the eyes of Jesus, my mother saw, helped, and sheltered her in her home. She needed help. Her baby needed everything from clothes to a car seat. She was so happy to see that someone actually noticed and cared for her. She mentioned that while in the store crying with her baby on the bench with no where to go, that no one even bothered to even talk to her, except my mom. Just in the days of mentioning her, she asked me, “ why are you helping and doing this for me? ” An opportunity to go and be His disciple. I replied, “Because God’s grace did that for me through willingly giving his son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins.” I am walking for her, for all the mothers, for all the unborn children so we may Go, walk, and live our faith and beliefs. Faith requires action.
