As an AAPI person who grew up in a predominantly white area, I can go on for days about how special being in all-AAPI spaces is for me. But to save time, all I'll say is it's awesome, I love it and it's why I joined Slant'd.
But Slant'd isn't just an all-AAPI space. It's an all-AAPI ✨CREATIVE✨ space. And after being on the team for the past year, I can tell you that it hits different. Slant'd is a place where people care about each other emotionally and creatively. It's place where you don't need you to simplify your culture or your feelings in your work because we share the same culture and feelings. It's really special and I hope everyone gets experience something like it.
