Welcome to my page for EricsHouse 2020 Fundraiser! 

My name is Mari Marquez, and I am the Director of Administration for EricsHouse. I also serve on the Board, and I will be starting a Widow’s Support Group in the Fall with the organization. 

I am also the Founder of embracingwidowhood.com, which is a National Resource Site and BLOG that advocates support and educational material for widows.

I became acquainted with EricsHouse back in 2018, when I had multiple losses, including my husband’s sudden loss. My husband Alex of three years suffered a horrific and tragic accident at the age of 36, in which he burned almost 80% of his body. 

In four months, I had lost my father to cancer, my husband to an accident, and I had a miscarriage. My world was shattered into millions of pieces. I didn’t know where to go or what to do next. 

Thankfully I met the team at EricsHouse, which changed my life! This fantastic team of specialists was monumental in helping me move forward with my grief. I have been part of the different modalities this incredible organization offers. I have done grief counseling to holistic services, mediumship, and spiritual direction. 

This organization truly changed my life, and I am incredibly grateful for it.
