Hey friends!
My name is Emma, and this summer I have the privilege of going on mission abroad to serve in El Salvador, Kenya, and Uganda. I am excited to tell you how you can get involved in this ministry as well.
When I was 13 years old, I remember reading the story of Amy Carmichael and feeling a burden in my heart for people who did not have access to education in God’s word. As I got to know God better throughout my high school years, He continued to lay this burden on my heart to serve His people around the world. Throughout the past semester at the Institute for G.O.D., God has only increased this desire to display the truth of His word to the nations. He has given me a passion to teach His word to those who will hear it.
This summer, I have the opportunity to travel abroad through the summer internship program, and I could not be more excited. The only thing more exciting is that you (yes, you!) get to be a part of this ministry as well. I will need lots of prayer this semester as I prepare for the trip (raising money, working extra, etc.). I will need prayer for health and safety as I serve abroad. Additionally, I need to raise about $8,000 in funds to pay for travel costs. Please pray and ask God where He would want you to give this season, through prayer, finances, or encouragements as they come.
I am so thankful for the calling God has placed on my life and the privilege that it is to serve His people in this way!
