Hi everyone!
I'm Esther Bargatze, a senior in high school and about to graduate from the Academy for GOD! I've been accepted to the Institute For GOD, and Summer Internship 2025 will be my first. I could not be more excited!
It feels like I've been waiting to go on Summer Internship my entire life because of the stories I grew up hearing from my parents who went in 2004 (two years before I was born). I know that at five years old I didn't really understand what Summer Internship was or why I was so excited for it but I have prayed for the people my parents met and our cooperatives, specifically in east Africa, since I first learned how to pray. It is truly special I now get the opportunity to experience Summer Internship and serve as my parents did when they chose to follow Jesus, even at the same places they did.
It was my parents, and my schools choice to devote their lives to God that gave me an education in the Bible. I hope to honor them by living out what they've taught me, and will continue to teach me! My prayer is that my heart and eyes will be open as I serve with my friends. I want to use the education I've received but be open to all the ways God wants to teach me.
