Hi everyone!!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be participating in this year’s Summer Internship! I’ll be traveling to El Salvador, Kenya, and Uganda with my best friends to serve our brothers and sisters in these regions. The opportunity to meet and serve the people I’ve been praying for, hearing stories about, taking classes with, and writing cards to throughout my life is truly beyond words.
I’ve been blessed to attend a school that instills values of compassion and service, and I’m constantly learning more about the character of Jesus. I believe this trip will challenge me to live out these principles while sharing God’s word with those in need. As children of God, our voices are powerful. Voice is the method God used to create order and it’s the gift He’s given us to encourage and love others. My prayer is that I won’t hold back when words of faith and righteousness are needed but instead boldly share His love in every moment.
In preparation for this trip I ask for your prayers, as I believe God moves through them. I would also be grateful for any financial support toward the $8,000 trip cost, of which I’ve raised $1,000 so far through working various jobs.
Our God is so good, and I truly cannot wait to witness how He works through His children to bring about change in a world so deeply in need of His love and hope.
