**UPDATE: Daxx came down with a canine virus and will not be able to make the celebration event on Wed. 10/18 since he’s still contagious to other fur babies. This is a bummer as he is so cute and deserves to win this! Nonetheless, his mommy is continuing to work hard on his behalf to secure donations/votes for a good cause**

🐶 DAXX is 16 weeks and kind of young to have a story yet. But if names say it all, Daxx means “The one at peace”. Daxx is a Fawnequin Great Dane with one blue & one brown eye. He IS at peace in his own skin (and eyes). Daxx was entered in the Outrigger’s Mascot contest to raise funds to benefit local animal welfare organizations. We believe whole-heartedly that every domestic animal deserves a human bond and a loving home. Please support this good cause (and help Daxx make the 2024 Outrigger’s calendar and EARN the Mascot designation while helping less fortunate animals). Thanks so much for your support 🥰

De”TAILS” for our Mascot Contest Benefit 2nd ANNUAL MASCOT CONTEST to benefit local animal welfare organizations. KICK-OFF: Wednesday, September 20 from 3-6pm Enjoy Yappy Hour with your well-behaved pup while entering them into this year's calendar contest! Every entry is a $25 donation & you will receive a complimentary Tito’s drink and/or some new "Vodka for Dog People" swag! REGISTER YOUR DOG - Create your own peer-to-peer fundraising page here after donating $25 to enter your pup into our annual contest benefit. (We will be checking!) - To register, click "Register My Pup!' under the Team Members section. Be sure to upload a pic of your pup as the team logo! - Gain "votes" by asking friends and family to donate to your unique page! Every $5 donation is one vote. HOW DOES MY PUP WIN The top 12 pups will be featured in our annual calendar and the winning pup will be named our 2024 MASCOT on Wednesday, October 18 at 8pm. FESTIVITIES FOR THE FINALS WILL BE BEGIN AT 6PM, OCTOBER 18. Winners will be announced at 8pm.
