I am hiking for Sickle Forward because today it gives me the opportunity, with others, to raise awareness for sickle cell disease, a mountain that patients with this condition have to climb everyday. With the Sickle Forward funding, Alan Anderson and his team will bring early and rapid SCD diagnosis with local management options directly to newborns and patients in Africa. Thank you for supporting my goal to raise $50k and bringing exposure to the most common inherited blood disorder affecting African children. What better cause than our next generation?
