As Martin Luther King Jr. stated so powerfully “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and inhumane.” Today, Sickle Cell patients continue to suffer from dramatically inferior healthcare globally. This hike is about providing funds to help change that and sending a message that these disparities must be resolved.
