I am very excited to announce that I am  back for my seventh season of BvB Dallas! 2020 was a roadblock for all of us, however, we are back with a vengeance. Although, we have a new team name and I am no longer in a leadership position, there is a re-energized passion to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease research and social outreach. We have amazing beneficiaries this season: UT Southwestern Medical Center, Juliette Fowler Communities, Center for BrainHealth, The Senior Source, and the Alzheimer's Foundation. Why I play: Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the US, and is the only cause of death in the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or slowed! Alzheimer's and dementia have likely affected your family and/or friends and they definitely have affected mine.

Unfortunately, my dear friend and loyal client, Dana Drago, lost her courageous battle with Alzheimer's in February of 2017, passing away just weeks shy of her 59th birthday. I'm extremely honored for the opportunity to coach in her memory for another season.

In addition to honoring Dana’s memory, I once again dedicate this season to Dana's best friend and primary caretaker, Misty Keown. Alzheimer's is one of those diseases that can be as difficult for, or even take a larger emotional toll on the caretaker than the patient. Misty is one of the most caring and selfless people I know and I'm privileged to call her one of my best friends. Misty never left Dana's side during her four-year fight. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to dedicate another season to Misty.

With your unbelievable support and generosity, I have raised over $70,000 in my previous six seasons to support efforts to eradicate this dreaded disease.
