Hey y'all! My name is Kickflip and am a Co-chair at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer. I joined Kaleidoscope because of my passion for creating a supportive and joyful environment for children and families affected by cancer. Having experienced the transformative impact of camp as a camper, counselor, and leader, I wanted to give back by preserving what makes it special and ensuring others feel the same light, healing, and connection. Camp is a place where children can find joy, healing, and connection, surrounded by a community that truly understands and supports them. This year, I am so excited to host a backpacking trip and connect with all the campers and counselors. So this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope! Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go: $20 - T-shirts for a camper $50 - Art supplies for rotations $75 - Dance party decorations $100 - Unit snacks for a week $500 - Send a camper to camp $1000 - Fund a camp carnival If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone who might be interested in helping us out. Thank you so much! With so much love, Jacob "Kickflip" Steffen-Brune | ||||||||||
