When I shared my experience feeling isolated growing up with a sick parent, a friend of mine told me I could make sure other kid's didn't go through the same thing. I am so glad I listened. My name is Quantum, I'm one of the admin for this year and Camp Kaleidoscope changed my life. Camp Kaleidoscope is an overnight summer camp, and year round community, for Bay Area families impacted by a parent's cancer. We show up at the best and worst moments in these families' journeys. As part of the admin team, I am beyond excited to make sure kids impacted by a parent's cancer have the chance to feel connected to peers who understand them. However, as a student volunteer organization, we rely on our community to help us. Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go: $20 - T-shirts for a camper $50 - Art supplies for rotations $75 - Dance party decorations $100 - Unit snacks for a week $500 - Send a camper to camp $1000 - Fund a camp carnival If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out. Thank you so much! With so much love, Quantum | ||||||||||
