Hey y'all! My name is McFlurry and I am a Co Chair at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that supports children who have or had a parent with cancer through a free week long summer camp in June.
Camp is a place where children who have had to grow up way too fast have a space where they can just focus on being kids. I joined Kaleidoscope because my dad passed away two years ago from pancreatic cancer, right before my high school graduation. I have firsthand experience with the emotions that overwhelm a family during a parent's cancer experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to help other families facing similar challengers. I am so touched to be able to help build and see the impact of a community that can understand and support each other like no other.
This year, I am SO excited to see everyone in community, whether that is at Reunion, Spark a Smile, or during the week of camp. So this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope!
