I'm writing this while recovering from a broken hip, so if it doesn't entirely make sense, blame the meds.
Most of you know that I have been involved with LEAP since I retired from full-time teaching. I've worked my way up from volunteer in the College Success Program to Chair of the Board. LEAP is an extraordinary organization, offering a variety of programs to public school students in middle school through high school and college. These programs are designed to narrow the opportunity gap for gateway city kids and help them create a pathway to a successful life.
This fundraiser is geared towards expanding LEAP's reach by setting a modest contribution goal for a larger number of people. My goal is $250, which can be met by donations of $25 from 10 friends. If you can give more, please do.
