🎉 For anyone who wants to donate to a wonderful cause to help animals, here's your chance! This is our big fundraiser for the year! 💵 For anyone who doesn't know all the wonderful things the RI SPCA does, let me tell you!: -It starts with the animals! When people can no longer care for their pets (for whatever reason) we are who they go to to surrender their animal. This gives their cat, dog, rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, etc a second chance -We offer a program called Hardship Boarding. For those who are struggling due to an eviction or fire, etc, we give temporary housing at no charge! -Moms and Toms Program: for those who did not spay or neuter their cat and find their female is pregnant, we will take both the Mom and Tom and get them spayed and neutered at no charge. In exchange the Mom will go into foster with her kittens and we will provide homes for the kittens -Food Pantry: For those who can't afford food for their pets. We offer free food and goods in our lobby. -Clinic: we have our own team of vets and offer financial assistance as well -Humane Education: we have a team of wonderful educators who go to schools and libraries to teach the youth about animal care and how to prevent cruelty. We also have a fabulous spring and summer camp! -Cruelty: We have officers on site who investigate cruelty, rescue the animals and help prosecute the offenders!
