Living in Lake Atitlan for seven years and being the Community Manager at Water4Life Guatemala, I am in direct contact with families and farmers, which has allowed me to witness the challenges they face due to climate change. The need for safe water is urgent—essential for education, health, and development.
Through water filters and educational workshops on environmental care, we help communities improve their quality of life. Additionally, with our greywater projects, we protect our beautiful lake from growing contamination and the use of chemicals.
Empowering women is also key. They are leading change in their communities, bringing knowledge and solutions to their villages.

El agua es un derecho—hagámoslo realidad
Viviendo en el Lago Atitlán desde hace siete años y siendo Community Manager en Water4Life Guatemala, estoy en contacto directo con familias y agricultores, lo que me ha permitido ver las dificultades que enfrentan debido al cambio climático. La necesidad de agua segura es urgente—esencial para la educación, la salud y el desarrollo.
A través de filtros de agua y talleres educativos sobre el cuidado ambiental, ayudamos a las comunidades a mejorar su calidad de vida. Además, con nuestros proyectos de aguas grises, protegemos nuestro hermoso lago de la creciente contaminación y el uso de químicos.
Empoderar a las mujeres también es clave. Ellas están liderando el cambio en sus comunidades, llevando conocimiento y soluciones a sus aldeas.
