Jacob Olivera's Story

This Summer, I'm going on a mission trip to El Salvador with my college - The Institute for G.O.D. This will be my third time going on mission with my school, but the first time going to a Latin American country. I'm excited and blessed to have this opportunity to go to El Salvador. I find this trip opportunity to be special in particular since I get to visit a people I hold dearly to my heart. As a member of the Hispanic community, I've gotten to hear the stories and know the lives of many immigrants from Latin American countries. This is my opportunity to be able to experience a glimmer of these circumstances and understand these stories and the people behind the stories on a deeper and more personal level. I'm especially excited to meet the people our college works with in El Salvador and learn more about their daily lives. I've interacted with them virtually through zoom calls, but this Summer, I'll finally get the chance to meet them. I know the Lord will move powerfully this Summer and do amazing things. Please support me in this effort to participate in what the Lord is doing with His people in El Salvador.
