Theatre is one of the best things in my life. When I was a kid, I first discovered my love for theatre at Hays Kids Drama Camp, and I’ve loved it ever since then. Theatre has been a constant factor in my life, and it shaped who I am today. I learned how to be confident and fearless from performing onstage. I learned empathy by seeking to understand the perspectives and walk in the shoes of the characters I played. As I’ve grown up, theatre has helped shape my personality, my skills, and my relationships. Which brings me to SummerStock Austin and Impact Arts. Impact Arts is an amazing organization that gives so many people the opportunity to work with like minded people who love the arts, and your donation makes this wonderful program possible. I don’t know who I’d be without the opportunities theatre has given me, and this is one of the best.
