Hey guys, I'm Delilah!! This is my third year as a member of Summer Stock Austin and I can not begin to express how thankful I am. To start off, Impact Arts gives young performers and technicians opportunities that we would never have had otherwise. For example, Summer Stock is entirely tuition free!! This allows so many young people to pursue their passions, the way they might not have been able to if Impact Arts hadn't supported them in this way. Along with this, I have gained so many new skills throughout my time in Summer Stock that I had never thought I would get the chance to do. All my life, I had primarily been a performer, but SSA introduced me to the technical side of theatre as well. The experience of being on crew for a show while performing in another was such an experience of growth for me, that I may not have ever thought to have. Lastly but certainly not leastly, Summer Stock is such a supportive and loving community, in which I have not failed to make some of my closest friends yet. This program is truly a magical place that needs to be protected at all costs. All this to say, please consider donating!!
